There is obviously so much material on the internet that not everyone can keep up with it.
I know I can’t.
So, here’s something that you may not know about that is worth reading.
The Reformation 21 website published an article by Carl Truman entitled: “Thank God For Bandit Country”. Don’t be confused by the title. The essay addresses how Truman deals with the criticism that is directed toward him, some from online sources, some quite personally. If you’ve ever been criticised in a personal and vindictive way it is an insightful and very moving treatment.
C. J. Mahaney provided an introduction and a link to Truman’s essay on the Sovereign Grace Ministries blog. His comments preface the article very well and I recommend that you read his piece first.
So, here they are:
C.J. Mahaney on: ‘The Gospel and Personal Criticism‘.
Carl Truman on: ‘Thank God for Bandit Country‘.
Thank God for wise and thoughtful Christians who can share instruction and exhortation such as this.
