Here’s the other cover version of Fields Of Gold that I mentioned following posting the original by Sting and a recent cover by Ellie and Drew Holcomb.
I have a suspicion this is the version that the lady had in mind when she requested it at her funeral, but we didn’t have any way to confirm.
Sting’s version is a bit shorter, and its simplicity worked well in the context of the service.
But this is lovely.
