Footy Tipping 2014 – NRL Round 6 / AFL Round 4

Maybe the NRL isn’t wildly inconsistent. Maybe it’s excitingly even. After five matches only one team has won four times and only two teams have won once. The other fifteen teams have won either two or three games. That’s very unusual.
So maybe. Maybe.
The AFL seems to have less surprises and greater spread between teams, which is odd in that the AFL has a draft in addition to the salary cap and is more restrictive in player moves, yet the gap between good and bad is a gulf and some teams never bottom out and others never hit the top. Club cultures are responsible, I think.
Anyway, hopefully that will distract you from the results.

Port Adelaide
Greater Western Sydney
